RICHARD BUCHANAN

Richard Buchanan - Operations Director
Richard has over 35 years experience in offshore financial services in a variety of management roles encompassing the banking and investment management industries.

Prior to joining Alexander Forbes, Richard was the managing director of the Jersey subsidiary of Alpha Bank until its closure this year. Prior to this he held a number of senior management positions including 11 years as Head of Sales and Marketing for the offshore subsidiary of Abbey National plc.

Richard has also worked in a number of investment, marketing and banking roles for Raiffeisen Central Bank and subsidiaries of the Royal Bank of Scotland group as well as spending 4 years as a director of a Jersey firm of independent financial advisors.
